RECIPE:
This requires a day of prep, but like any great quest, the effort makes the journey worth it.
INGREDIENTS:

2 oz Coconut-fat-washed Quest’s End NPC Whiskey

0.5 oz Demarara syrup

1 dash Tiki bitters
-
2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Sharp orange peel parallelogram
- Finish with smoker
INSTRUCTIONS:
Coconut-fat-washed whiskey (make a day or more in advance):

In a jar, melt coconut fat in microwave.

Add whiskey and shake to mix.

Let stand 6–8 hours then place in freezer overnight.
- Remove frozen fat puck, and strain whiskey through a coffee filter placed in a fine-mesh seive to remove fat particles.
Cocktail:

In an ice-filled shaker, add 2 oz coconut-fat-infused whiskey, Demarara syrup, Tiki bitters, and Angostura bitters.

Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.

Add ice block (even better if it's a skull) to rocks glass and strain cocktail into glass.

Twist orange peel oils over glass and drop peel into the cocktail.

Place smoker over drink and torch that thing!

Wait 60 seconds then remove the smoker and serve immediately.
