HOME IS WHERE THE NIGHTMARE IS

For those of you who start constructing your horrid displays weeks ahead of time, we are in creeped-out awe. We have one such horror-maker amongst us: Find Familiar Spirits webmaster Dan Sullivan. His mantra is the more the scarier and we applaud his gruesome dedication. If you can turn a corner without coming face to face with something horrifically wonderful, are you even trying?

But if there’s anything better than the end result, it’s the way it brings the family together from the idea phase through execution (pun very much intended). Haunted house brainstorming and building, where everyone can bring their unique strengths to the table, is the new TV night because after all… a family that slays together, stays together.

If you need some extra hands (that are still attached) and don’t have enough family members, gather like-minded friends to lend their talents. Name better quality time than creating ways to horrify the neighborhood together? We’ll wait.

If you’d rather be the terrified instead of the TERRIFIER… boy, do we have a destination for you. This year at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, they have a haunted house dedicated to the Terrifier movies that will have you begging for mercy.

Why might this particular haunted house be of interest to us? INK-YMI (see what we did there?), we happen to be partnering with ICE NINE KILLS*, the epic gold-selling horror metal band who created the song A Work of Art specially for and featured in Terrifier 3… a song you’ll catch in the haunted house if your screams don’t drown it out.

HOMETOWN HAUNTS

If visiting one of the Universal Studios locations isn’t in the cards, there are going to be plenty of local options that will get your blood pumping, but they could sell out! So make sure to research haunted houses or Halloween attractions near you and book tickets now.
