ABOUT THE SPIRIT
A unique barrel-aged sotol from Texas
Our award-winning spirits team is thrilled to have discovered something even more rare, fine and limited to offer the horror community for their first bespoke spirit: a barrel-aged sotol from Texas. Sotol is a distilled spirit from the Dasylirion genus, also known as desert spoon; enjoy it like you would any high-end tequila or mezcal. We sip it straight, but it’s fantastic in a cocktail too (see here for more ideas).
On the nose, the desert greets you with a hint of sage and leather. As this dram opens up, notes of almond, honey, and cherrywood smoke linger on the palate, creating a impression as long-lasting as the chill you’ll get from Mike Flanagan’s novella.

Mike Flanagan explores the depths of horror
One of the most influential horror creators of the last two decades, Mike Flanagan has fueled plenty of nightmares. His feature films include Stephen King adaptations Doctor Sleep and Gerald’s Game, as well as Ouija: Origin of Evil and Hush. He’s also working on a new take on The Exorcist. Flanagan is a Netflix fan favorite, creating shows such as The Fall of the House of Usher and The Haunting of Hill House.
