A Premium Agave Spirit

Created as an ofrenda for Día de los Muertos, Sangre de Agave was born in partnership with Mexican and Mexican American artisans, farmers and storytellers who honor the land, the plant and the ancient folklore woven into both. This limited release pairs a small-batch agave spirit rooted in tradition with an eerie bilingual novella born from legend.

AWAKEN YOUR SPIRIT

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

1 2

1. A Traditional Agave Spirit

This spirit comes from a rustic agave syrup created by traditional slow-cooking, crushing, and an unfiltered, low-tech philosophy. The result is a crystal-clear 80-proof spirit with richer complexity than a standard tequila blanco.

2. The Bonds of Blood

In V. Castro’s Sangre de Agave, Mayahuel appears to be a typical mother, but each Día de los Muertos she becomes an ancient goddess and demon answering desperate pleas. As a rift deepens with her daughter Elena, a routine summoning goes horribly wrong and Mayahuel must face a nightmarish new threat to protect her child.
